About Diggit
Diggit is made for the classroom: quizzes, polls, word clouds and anonymous questions in real time, on students' own screens.
The whole class takes part
In most classrooms the same five students answer. Diggit turns that around: everyone answers from their own screen, and answers are anonymous, which lowers the threshold for interaction. You see straight away what the class actually understood.
How it works
Create an activity: a quiz, poll, word cloud, course evaluation or icebreaker. Start a session and students join with an eight-digit code, a QR code or a link. No app, no account and no login for the students. Answers stream in live and you decide when the class sees the results. When the activity ends you can step through the questions together and reveal the correct answers. Everything runs in the browser, on phones, tablets and computers.
For teachers and students
For teachers in primary school, secondary school and higher education. Formative checks in the middle of a lesson, a quick check as the students leave the room, revision before a test, course evaluations and icebreakers with a new class. Students can also signal that they are lost and ask anonymous questions, which reaches exactly the ones who would otherwise have stayed quiet. Save the results and return to them before the next lesson. The same sessions work just as well at a staff meeting or a lecture.
